The 8-Max Knockout concluded on November 9 and it was “dduddee” who was the last player standing from a massive field of 6,027 entrants. First place was worth an impressive $13,002.45 but that prize was boosted by $6,142.41 worth of bounty payments.

Part of that juicy bounty payout was on the head of runner-up “joaoBedhias” who was the tournament’s runner-up. They collected a $12,976.04 prize from the main prize pool plus an additional $502.65 from the bounty prize pool.

Third-place finisher “Pino Dangio” also walked away with five-figures when you include bounties. Their $8,465.34 prize was topped up with $1,539.34 worth of scalps, only the champion and fifth-place finisher “R_D3ck4rd” eliminated more opponents.

Monster #16 was a PLO Knockout and was action-packed throughout thanks to the very nature of pot-limit Omaha combining with a PKO structure.

“NoSoulToRead” was the last partypoker player standing, a finish worth $939.22. This only tells part of the story, however, because they won $1,439.09 worth of bounties, almost 50% more than their haul from the main prize pool; they must have been busy sending foes to the rail.

“kardi3”, the tournament’s runner-up, was the other grinder who received a four-figure prize. Their $937.27 second-place prize was boosted with $245.94 worth of scalps, making for a profitable day at the partypoker tables.
