March 2018 Lineup (What we are doing)

Hello VGN Crew,

This is just an informative post going out the entire commmunity. If you guys haven’t noticed March Games are running. This month February we are going to stick to our guns same as last month with minimal changes. We do however have some new things and different stuff coming everyone’s way. Its our hope come april we will be able to raise stakes on the Subscriber Freerolls a little bit. So without talking too much any further lets go over some of the details.

SCHEDULE OUTLINE:

NOTE: Passwords to all public Games including the Jivaro Monday Giveaway are posted in the community chat lobby before the tournament begins. Do not ask for passwords especially if you are not a mod/admin. Subscribers its recommended you private message an administrator to get passwords versus posting publicly in the chat lobby. All games listed as public are for everyone not just subscribers. All games listed as PAID SUBSCRIBERS are private. Everything that says leaderboard event means your stats from the tournament will be updated on the leaderboard.

1.) VGN Community Freerolls

VGN Community Freerolls will now be “VGN Public Freerolls” if it is setup properly. There was some confusion from the green’s and others as to which tournaments were public and which tournaments are for subscribers only. Well I’m here to tell you that Every “Monday”, “Thursday” & “Sunday” we will have public tournaments for everyone in the community. Its important that players read the tournament details because different buy-in games also offer Free Subscriptions.

2.) Jivaro Monday Freerolls

Every Monday we have a jivaro giveaway which gives the top 2 finishers x6 months free jivaro poker hud subscription. Jivaro has upgraded their backend and we now have a new way to release subscriptions. Please note in order for this top be valid you must not have a jivaro subscription, you must have a valid jivaro username/email and you must also have a valid vgn poker username. Prizes must be claimed within 24 hours via live support and/or by contacting a VGN Administrator.

3.) PLO8 Community Freerolls

PLO8 Community Freerolls will run every sunday and password will be released to everyone before the event kicks off. THE PLO8 and Standard Holdem Community Leaderboards share statistics. This means if you place top 10 in any of the VGN Community Freeroll Events your information will be updated on the leaderboard accordingly.

4.) JimMac Bounty Attack

Jim has earned his wings and is branching off independently. This month we will be prepping his site, system and schedule so that there is no confusion and everything runs like clock work. All your VGN usernames/passwords/subscriptions will carry over to his website when it is complete. JimMac’s setup will primarily focus around radio broadcasting and when he does go live he will have his own schedule/lobby etc so this is just a prep notice.

5.) VGN Leaderboards

The Leaderboards for individual buy-in games has been reset. The universal leaderboard statistics will not reset those will be life long statistics that players will build up here over time. There are a lot of leaderboard improvements I am working on also that I feel will enhance everyone experience.

6.) Share Tournament Results

Please keep in mind VGN Subscribers still have the ability to share tournament results if they place good or have a good run with everyone in the community. At the top of the page click on tournament results + share tournament results and follow the instructions to get your tournament posted on VGN.

7.) Donations

It costs money to keep this place running all donations are excepted and will give due credit the people who help out. Its the community that keeps this place going.

8.) Additional Games

We are looking into enhancing our rewards platform and getting some more games out there for you guys. Our first move to expand a little bit is going to most likely be to poker stars home games. It will offer a broader audience and get us out there a little bit more. Make no mistake our main home is WPN and we will remain true them. Its our job as a network though to provide our subs and players with the best possible bang for their buck and I honestly think it would be good getting some new things in here. Stay tuned for more.

9.) Staff Applications

Under Network + Opportunities you can find the staff applications if you are interested in becoming a VGN Staff Member. Its called opportunities for a reason. What you get out of it is what you are willing to put in. We are looking for dedicated mods and people to help out so if you think you are a good fit then by all means apply.

10.) VGN Moss Freebuys

Every friday this month we have a special MOSS Freebuy that will give away satellites for OSS 2018. These games are for subs only so if you aren’t a sub make sure you do so for 2.99/mo to get the full benefits of VGN.
