Leading Player in SCOOP $5,200 Main Event: All Eyes on the Chip Leader

The no-limit hold’em Main Events of the Spring Championship of Online Poker at PokerStars have reached their midpoint, with two days completed and two more remaining. Everyone still in the race is in the money, but many are closely monitoring results to see how they might impact the standings in the Pick 3 for SCOOP 2026 contest.

As a reminder, we’re sending a lucky player to the Irish Poker Open next week — provided their team of three SCOOP players earns more points than all competitors.

We won’t know the winner until the final SCOOP tournament concludes on Wednesday. However, the registration for the Main Event is now closed, and we have the answer to the contest’s tiebreaker: ‘How many entries will the 3 SCOOP NLH Main Events get (Low, Medium, and High) combined?’ The answer is 19,999, since each event surpassed its guaranteed prize pool.

Among the competitors, one player stands out. Sweden’s ‘ShipitFTW911’ has been drafted 20 times in various Pick 3 teams but has not yet made a significant impact on the points leaderboard, earning only 190 points against top scorer ‘FAL1st’, who has accumulated 4,470 points during the same period.

However, at the time of writing, ShipitFTW911 holds something that FAL1st does not: the chip lead in the $5,200 High Main Event. Just 40 players out of 443 entries have survived the initial two days, and ShipitFTW911 leads the chip counts with a stack of 8.4M, equivalent to approximately 169 big blinds.

The total prize pool is $2,215,000, with $397,025 allocated for the winner; all remaining players are guaranteed at least $11,180.

On Tuesday’s Day 3, we will be watching several Pick 3 players, including Benjamin ‘bencb789’ Rolle, who, although not drafted, is sitting in the middle of the pack with 2.6M chips in 19th place. Rolle’s recent performance is impressive, having won the WSOP Online Main Event in September for $3.9M.

While larger fields in cheaper Main Events often mean fewer of our 100 Pick 3 draft choices reach the final stages, they can still positively impact your score. Bigger fields also translate to bigger points on the leaderboard.

The $1,050 Medium Main Event has 80 players remaining from 2,673 entries, boasting a total prize pool of $2,673,000. Each participant is now guaranteed at least $4,464, but the $391,389 top prize is what everyone is chasing. Currently leading is Indonesian player ‘$()meb()dy’ with a substantial stack of 13.3M chips — over 190 big blinds.

As for the $109 Low Main Event, it has attracted the most substantial crowd yet, with 16,883 entries that created a pot worth $1,688,300, of which $181,540 will go to the winner. The remaining 159 players have already secured over $1,000, with Switzerland’s ‘Lanor2004’ leading with 9.2M chips (115 big blinds).

It’s important to note that SCOOP’s Main Events feature two formats: no-limit hold’em (NLH) and pot-limit Omaha (PLO). The PLO events are shorter — with the Low and Medium being two-day events and the High lasting three days — yet share the same buy-in amounts as their NLH counterparts, presenting a more challenging field.

In past events, the $109 Low has seen many Pick 3 players make their mark, notably led after one day’s play by the highly drafted Jerry ‘Perrymejsen’ Odeen, who boasts a stack of 775K, or 193 big blinds, and aspires for the $20,174 first-place prize. Currently, 178 out of 1,291 entries remain, with each having earned a few hundred dollars thus far.

Odeen, Glaser, and FAL1st are also still competing in the $1,050 Medium PLO Main Event, where 35 of 288 participants are left. This event has a total prize pool of $288K, with $54,972 dedicated to the eventual winner. Here’s where our Pick 3 interests lie:
