General Overview

If you have any of the major virtual reality headsets on the market chances are you have the ability the play this game.   After installing Pokerstars VR you will find yourself transported into a virtual casino lobby where you can collect your daily chips, view different promotions and see the leaderboards.  This software is still somewhat in its beta phase but is absolutely on the right path to lay the groundwork for some seriously immersive gameplay.

Just about every week there are updates and bug fixes.  The Dev team over there is definitely on point engaging and working with the community to develop and maintain a quality experience on this platform.

Custom Avatars

Another interesting place ps vr has is the ability to create custom avatars.  You can customize your player to look how you want as well as get some cool hats, helmets and attire for your character in the store.  There are fun little things like interactive hats and gear for you avatar that enable you to do cool little unique things while sitting at the tables.

Discord is the place to be if you are a player involved in the vr pokerstars community.  There are thousands of players talking on their discord all day and hanging out discussing different stuff that is happening. Sit N Go Tournaments

Newly added to the mix are sit n go tournaments.  There are different buy-ins for each sit n go tournament and players have the ability to also host their own and/or join one for as little as 20k chips.  There are weekly leaderboards and prizes given out to players who participate.  This is just another great feature that this game has to offer and we encourage all new players to check them out if they decide to signup.

Cash Games

Slots are also available and can be played the same time that you are sitting at a table.  If your steadily grinding at a table it’s really to just pull up a slot on the side and played same time.  Just added they now have a weekly slots tournament that can be played by anyone.

Pokerstars VR Review Conclusion

Being a real money cash/tournament player myself and considering to try out pokerstars vr at first made me skeptical.  I can honestly say though that I am not disappointed.  If your looking for an engaging poker vr experience than you should absolutely try this game out.

For the most part the community is friendly and fun, the leaderboards are competitive and I see very good things happening in the future for this game.  VR technology is still somewhat new and it’s actually exciting to think about where all of this will be in the future.
